We are pleased that one of the scientific fortresses in the city of Zintan in the noble Western Mountain region is (the Faculty of Science in Zintan), which is considered one of the oldest university institutions in the region and has graduated large numbers of qualified people in various fields of basic sciences and is now participating in building modern Libya and moving it to an advanced stage to build a prosperous society and achieve freedom and human happiness and eliminate ignorance and backwardness. We hope that this site has provided a sufficient answer of information to what every reader and researcher is looking for. The Faculty of Science in Zintan was established on 9/18/1991 AD by virtue of the decision of the General People's Committee (formerly) No. (745) under the name of the Faculty of Science at the University of the Western Mountain, where the idea at that time was to establish an integrated university for the Western Mountain region with its colleges distributed across the cities of the region. The Faculty of Science was one of these colleges that the university included, which was headquartered in the city of Zintan

Preparing and qualifying specialized scientific competencies in the field of basic sciences to fill the deficit in human cadres suffered by some sectors of the state

Disseminating knowledge and culture among members of society by holding seminars and conferences
